Richard, a resident of Chartwell Bois-de-Boulogne in Montreal, Quebec, has been a Boston Bruins superfan since childhood. His entire life has been dedicated to staying on top of the team’s every move. His love of the Bruins knows no bounds, from his meticulous compilation of statistics to his treasured collection of memorabilia.
Over the years, Richard’s love of hockey became his lifeline, especially when he was diagnosed with a serious illness. Watching the games on television always lifted his spirits and brought him comfort during the most difficult times. Miraculously, he overcame his illness and now has hope for a brighter future.
Richard’s biggest dream was to spend an unforgettable day all about the Bruins. Thanks to The Chartwell Foundation, his dream finally came true when he got to see his favourite team hit the ice at the Bell Centre against the Montreal Canadiens, from the best seats in the house. He and his best friend enjoyed a delicious meal at 9-4-10 Steakhouse, complete with a limousine ride—champagne included! In addition to this memorable experience, he also received gifts bearing the colours of the Boston Bruins and a certificate to spend at the official gift shop.
“I dedicate this moment to my father and my mother who would have been very proud to see me.”
