Lucienne’s Trip to Graceland

Lucienne is an 87-year-old lifelong Elvis Presley fan who, for nearly seven decades, had a dream to visit Graceland, the King’s home in Memphis, Tennessee. In the face of declining vision and a neurological disease that invokes tremors, Lucienne’s dream remained stronger than ever. Her remarkable collection of all things Elvis reflects her passion for the singer who has deeply impacted her life.

Lucienne finally embarked on an extraordinary trip to Memphis, Tennessee with her daughter Line. She received the ultimate VIP tour of the Graceland Mansion and visited the legendary Sun Studio, where Elvis recorded his first song. Afterwards, they made a pit stop at Gladys’ Diner to enjoy the King’s favourite meal: a peanut butter and banana sandwich!

"It's truly a dream come true!” Lucienne’s daughter Line explains. My mom used to say that once she experiences this, she can leave this world in peace. Hopefully, she won't take her words too literally! You can't imagine how significant this is for her, so thanks to the team.”

For Lucienne, this trip symbolized more to her than simply sightseeing. It was the realization of a dream she had held onto for decades, through life’s hardships. She hopes to inspire others with her story as the music of Elvis remains alive in her heart.
